Nawangwe: 1000 Makerere Students Drop out Each Year due to Sports Betting
The Vice Chancellor of Makerere University Professor Barnabas Nawangwe revealed that research was done in response to reports that students leave school early for nonpayment of tuition; he went on to say that these students receive financial aid from their parents and wish to bet in order to generate interest.
