EU removes Uganda from list of countries implicated in money laundering

Uganda’s financial integrity has been strengthened by the European Union (EU) after removing the nation from its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Blacklist. The action was taken on March 15, following Uganda’s removal from the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) “grey list” on February 23 in Paris, France.
